Ahhhh it looks great! The clouds are really nice and fluffy and the lighting on the orbs is just perfect - nice and shiny

I’m waiting for my paint to dry a bit so figured to toss this in here while waiting. still a lot of work left to do but I’m not complaining. Its fun to paint with oils.

(And dammit, why does most of the stuff look so bluish on photos? Colors are so much richer in person gah)

Normal people spend their Saturdays being lazy or going out… And then there’s me, painting all day long.

Anyway, I’m using oils for actual painting in full color for the very first time. It’s fun and like I thought, it’s a medium I was born to use (it’s egoistic to say, I know, but it’s true). And man, I’m so mad that I can’t take a decent photo of the thing, half of the colors aren’t even visible.

Here are my art supplies for classes, first image shows my oil paints and turpentine (in the jar, inside the plastic bag). My brushes and sculpting stuff in the drawer, and my papers and painting surfaces (I don’t use canvases, they’re too expensive)

Sketchy illustrations I did today for tomorrow’s graphic’s class (because I’m one of those who procrastinate until the last moment). This whole thing I finished in around 3 hours, used just a thick marker, made no sketch whatsoever (because I’m lazy).

I wouldn’t know the details either since I’m not the person running the blog, but what they wrote in that post seems okay. From what I gathered, they would tell you from which old helpyoudraw page to which you should post stuff to the queue and basically copy the tags and descriptions.

Okay, I’ve got about 65 items in the queue, and I’ve gone through the first 10 cached pages of Helpyoudraw (out of 215) and have made posts for everything and added them all to the queue. However, I’m quickly realizing that I can’t do this on my own. I’m done queuing for the night because I’m drained, but if you want to help, here’s what you can do! Send me a PM (either here or on my main, jabberwockyx), and I will give you the password to the blog and ten pages (or more, or less, depending on what you think you’re up to) that you can queue. You don’t have to do it all in one sitting either, just as long as it all ends up in the queue!
